She did an awesome job and was very friendly. I love how she gave us lots of info and history about the Big Pigeon River and she was very knowledgeable about rafting. We arrived plenty early and the staff was good about telling us what we needed and what needed to stay in our car. There were several groups that arrived late and caused us to have a long wait to begin the adventure.

When it was over, we were able to change in the nice bathhouse. However, I was disappointed with the availability to purchase photos of our adventure.

I wanted one digital copy of one picture. They would not allow me to purchase one picture. I would suggest taking your camera in a waterproof case around your neck and taking your own pictures. We will do it again! On 2 lists. Great people! Great wine, and beer! Great atmosphere. Wonderful for an afternoon runaway or a date! Very dog friendly and beautiful spot. The resort is beautiful. The staff is phenomenal. The casino is huge and very welcoming. The drinks at the bar were amazing. However we had a loud, almost banging type of noise that wouldn’t stop coming from the vent in our room and we couldn’t sleep. I had to turn the TV on to drown out the noise and I literally only slept 3 hours. The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable. If it wasn’t for the constant noise and lack of sleep, my review would have been a lot more positive.

Five lifts service After reading other reviews, felt we needed to add ours. Brought my son for his first time snowboarding MLKjr weekend for the big snow! Then came again today for his 3rd visit!

Since we did that, it only took a little time to figure out where to get everything we needed. They are super organized, they have plenty of skis and boots and helmets and you will get what you need! You can also pick up bibs in town. Get there early. Five stars for Zack! They do still have helmets. Thank you for that. Great training and management! I recommend. Buy your tickets online days before and you will have a very comfortable day! Excellent organization compared to other mountains in NC, service divided by squads and short lines.

Thanks Cataloochee team. We visited the week of Thanksgiving and we were a little nervous based on reviews. I like to give honest reviews to help others because I use a ton of reviews to guide my decisions.

We got to the resort very early. The ticketing process is very slow. One line open. Getting equipment was a little ridiculous. I’ve never seen having to walk to multiple buildings to get equipment, especially having to wait in line multiple times.

It did move fairly fast but still annoying. The lift lines were never long, even during peak hours. My kids took lessons to freshen up and they enjoyed them. I was baffled that there was NO outside seating. Very strange!!! The food options were also terrible.

The only lunch option was soup or chili, delicious but my small kids were NOT pleased. I understand this was opening week but still Overall, I plan to return..

Two waterfalls merge in a picturesque setting with a primitive overlook, reachable by a short trail. I hiked the long way in to Soco Falls during the Winter. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely do it again. It was very snowy and the whole world seemed bright and peaceful. The waterfall is a twin waterfall of decent height. It is quite showy during recent rain and when snow melt is boosting its flow.

Quite relaxing place and has easy roadside access for families and people unable to hike. Trails lead to the falls as well and the athletic can use ropes to climb down to the base of the falls. This Is my kind of hike 4 min from seat to falls! It does get a bit tricky on the way down and up for that matter. Definitely not an easy one if older.

But still a nice view of it up top by parking lot. Beautiful roadside double falls. You can view it from street level or get right down to water’s edge if you like. It’s a short but rugged descent to the viewing platform, and even more rugged to get to the edge, but it’s beautiful. Would definitely recommend it if you’re into waterfalls. How anyone can consider anything less than 5 stars is beyond me.

This is an incredible ode to American motoring history. Not only is this one of the finest curated motorcycle museums, the staff are just as excited to be there as you are. We visited on a Sunday and even got to chat with the owner, Matt.

What an incredible experience that was chatting with him about the collection and watching him fire up one the bikes. If you care about American history, be sure to consider becoming a lifetime donor before leaving. It’s exactly what I did and will never regret that decision. I know the money will only go to preserving history for us all to enjoy! Your memory and legacy lives on, Dale. May you forever rest in peace.

I knew it would be awesome, but WOW!! If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, you absolutely have to visit. You could honestly spend a full day, if not more, exploring everything. So many irreplaceable treasures of motorcycle history. The staff is very knowledgeable and will start many of the bikes for you as they explain all their incritracies.

We will return for sure! Awesome experience. Seeing the evolution of the American made motorcycle. Displays show what the motorcycle lifestyle was like through history.

Most of bikes run and they will start one if you ask. The straight line flight distance is 43 miles less than driving on roads, which means the driving distance is roughly 1. Fluor Field is like a mini-Fenway My family had a great time at today’s game. Sweet Caroline’s ice cream cones were wonderful and fair priced. On Sunday’s kids are allowed to run the bases after the game which my daughter loved.

It was very busy and crowded though. Today’s game set an attendance record per the announcer. Our team went to Fluor Field for an afternoon game as part of a team building offsite. The suite was a little small for the size of our team but was really nice.

The food and drink was pretty good. Much better than I had expected, and the lady that was serving us did an awesome job of keeping everything stocked and everyone happy. The game was good and the entertainment between innings was also good. I’d love to do another event like this in the future.

I try to make it to at least one of the yearly neutral site games for Clemson University. State park. The summit was very nice to drive up to, the road beautiful. We took the small trail between the parking lot and the summit, and walking casually it took us 20 minutes, lots of stairs and rocks.

The highest point in the Smoky Mountains provides some of the best views you will ever see…period. On clear days, views can expand over miles. Incredibly beautiful! The drive up for the sunrise was long, but so worth it. It was a cold morning with a lot of wind. Definitely recommend checking temps and dress for it. A park ranger also suggested checking the webcam before going to see how clear it is. With going for sunrise that wasn’t an option, but it was supposed to be a clear day and it was.

The hike up is strenuous especially with minimal coffee consumed , but manageable and there are spots to stop. You can also get some beautiful views from the parking lot of both sunrise and sunset. So happy we did this, and I highly recommend! Lots of places to stop for views or hikes on the way up or back down. A beautiful drive! We had to park a ways away for it was very crowded. Nice hike on a paved path.

There are several benches along the way. Awesome view from the top. We went here on a gloomy, rainy day without any expectations to see a sunset. There were a couple of warnings while driving from Gatlinburg about dense fog in the area.

And that fog was visible from Clingmans. There is a steep uphill climb from the parking lot to the start of the dome which might not be easy for everyone. When we went there was absolutely no one on the trail, no one in the parking lot and it was drizzling. Since , Smoky Mountain Outdoors has maintained a high standard for fun, yet safe, white water rafting.
